The shower of rain cascaded down his face, as he raised it to the sky.
The fresh breeze of wind blew across his face, as he raised it to the sky.
He heard Sara call in the distance about not getting too wet.
He didn't care.
So long deprived of his senses.
So long deprived of seeing and being outside.
Now freedom.
Home at last.
He had to learn how to live again.
He wanted to be wet.
He wanted to taste the cool, fresh purity of the rain.
He wanted to feel the invigorating force of the wind.
Inside himself, he had to know he was still alive.
